Fire OG

Strains

Fire OG is an Indica-leaning strain (70% Indica and 30% Indica) and is the strongest of all the known OG Kush strains. It was bred by OG Raskal by crossing OG Kush and San Fernando Valley OG Kush. This particular strain has a high THC value of about 25%. Therefore, it is not the best for novice stoners. And even experienced smokers have to limit themselves by taking just one or two hits as the recommended dose.

Fire OG got its name from its appearance as well as its potency. It is characterized by leafy airy neon green nuggets with numerous orange hairs that make it look like it is on fire. It is also decorated with purple undertones and frosty white trichomes layer on top.

This strain is hard to grow as it requires patience and care. All the growth conditions have to be appropriate and closely monitored to get the best yield. Like its use limited to the experienced stoners, the cultivation of Fire OG is also not for the novice. Temperature and humidity are kept at optimum level and provide enough lighting to get your reward of about 14 ounces per square meter when cultivated indoors and an additional ounce outdoors. The plant flowers after 9-10 weeks.

Fire OG buds have a strong scent of sweet burning pine and a pungent earthy flavor. Some people have also reported citrusy terpenes and kerosene-like kick when the buds are broken. When inhaled into the body system, Fire OG triggers an uplifting sense of motivation with a quick boost of energy that makes you both euphoric and relaxed. These effects slowly advance into a couchlock and fade away, leaving you with a pang of hunger.

Due to the high potency of Fire OG, it is used by patients for relieving chronic medical conditions including, but not limited to, depression, insomnia, loss of appetite, PTSD, stress, arthritis, and fatigue.
