Sour Tangie is a resulting strain of crossing East Coast Sour Diesel and Tangie. It is a breed from DNA Genetics, a well-known breeder for marijuana plants. Sour Tangie is predominantly Sativa (80% Sativa and 20% Indica) with an average THC composition of 20%. The two extremes of THC are 15% and a whopping 30%. That is much likely because its parents also have that high level of THC.
It takes about 9 to 10 weeks for this breed to complete its growth cycle, characterized by oversize buds that take the shape of a soccer ball. The buds are light-green in color with open calyxes that have hereditary features from the parents. Sour Tangie has a strong smell of tart, tangy, and citrus fruit aroma. And since it’s a child of Sour Diesel, that smell cannot be ignored. The strong-pungent smell of this breed can be deceptive. When you take a puff, an orange taste is left behind, and the sweetness is not as concentrated as you would expect.
After a first puff, the substance goes into the bloodstream and sends a rush of euphoric feeling in the brain, followed by a persistent happy sensation. This feeling relieves any depression or any anxiety from the previous day. As the euphoric sensation gradually subsides, you start to feel more creative and energetic with an urge to get up and do something significant. That is why it is famous among stoners who do a lot of manual work.
The initial feelings gradually die, and giggling euphoria sets in. This new feeling should be what you are waiting for before joining the rest for a social activity or just hanging out with friends. It has no couchlock effect, making it a perfect breed to take at any time. However, newbies should try it in moderation because of its high THC content.
