Peanut Butter Breath

Strains

Peanut Butter Breath is a hybrid strain bred by ThugPug Genetics by crossing Do-Si-Dos and Mendobreath F2, resulting in a 50-50 balance between Sativa and Indica. This plant is highly potent with a THC level of 28% and was named after its nutty taste. It won first place in Toronto’s 2019 Karma Cup and third in the Mixed Light category in the 2018 Emerald Cup in Northern California.

Cultivating Peanut Butter Breath is not for beginners. Growth conditions have to be strictly controlled to keep mold at bay because of the low tolerance of this strain to diseases and pests. It grows well in a Mediterranean climate and produces an average to high yield. The growth time is about 9-10 weeks and rewards the gardener with up to 12 ounces per plant. It is distinguishable from other trains with its rugged olive-shaped nugs that appear light green with dark leave with purple hues. The buds are also characterized by thick frosty trichomes and orange-red pistils.

Peanut Butter Breath has a nutty and earthy scent and taste. Once absorbed into the bloodstream, it begins with a slight cerebral stimulation which then introduces a high euphoric feeling. The effect then spreads to all other body parts, making you feel re-energized. A tingly feeling begins at the back of your neck and flows down the spine before sending your entire body into a buzz. This effect will leave fully relaxed and couch-locked.

The strain produces long-lasting effects that have been used to treat medical conditions, including nausea, stress, insomnia, loss of appetite, depressions, chronic pain, etc. Due to the high level of THC, Peanut Butter Breath is only recommended to experienced stoners.
