Garlic Cookies

Strains

Garlic Cookies, also known as GMO Cookies, is a hybrid cannabis strain that is heavily Indica-dominated (90% Indica and 10% Sativa). It resulted from a cross between Chemdawg and Girl Scout Cookies. This is a highly potent and award-winner hybrid strain with a staggering THC content of 30%, a warning that newbies should not try it.

Garlic Cookies are admirable plants, especially when they begin to flower. They produce colorful trichomes, and water leaves turn from green to orange, red, or black. The few colas that grow on it shed off, exposing small, fluffy, and spade-like nuggets. The flowers generally appear white and crystalline due to the thick layer of trichomes that cover them.

GMO Cookies can perform well both indoors and outdoors but thrives better outdoors. The flowers are ready for harvesting towards the end of October, after a growing period of about 10 weeks. You can expect an average yield of between 14 to 18 ounces per square meter, depending on whether you cultivated it indoors or outdoors. Your growing skills and experience can also influence the outcome.

Garlic Cookies are known for their distinctive aroma of garlic and rotten coffee. On the contrary to the scent, this cannabis strain has a sweet taste with garlic exhale, which turns spicy. Some stoners have reported floral flavor that sticks on the palette.

This marijuana strain is recommended for nighttime use because of the couchlock effects of Indica. The euphoric high of Garlic Cookies starts a cerebral lift. This is followed by a pang of hunger that will force you to put your hands on anything edible. Soon after, you will feel uplifted and completely relaxed, sometimes feeling sleepy.

The effects of Garlic Cookies make it the best marijuana strain for treating appetite loss, depression, fatigue, anxiety, muscle pain, insomnia, etc.

  1. I have “Chem Cookies” from Tryke Co. (Diamond label, there top shelf name) I don’t remember the THCA but its true THC tested at 20.77%. 45$ an 1/8.
I must not have a refined palette, people smell five six things, taste six things at once I don’t really taste and smell that many things at once especially with this strain.
I don’t smell garlic or taste it. I’m smelling now and I get a lot of sour, chemical, diesel, earthy with a little fruity note at the end. Smells like good cannabis and tastes great. I have to use a smoketrap which hinders my ability to get the full exhale taste. I took three bong hits. I’m relaxed getting hungry, stress from the day dissipates. No couch lock still functioning normally I have a very high tolerance I’m a daily user. This strain is 20.77% THC that’s about my low end I like my THC to be higher. I’m in Utah the highest I’ve had was 26.8% “Pie Hoe” so we’re not getting the best quality medicine but at 21% this strain still looks amazing multiple greens, purple hues. Nice orange pistols, the terpenes are a great mix with caryophyllene dominated , I suffer from anxiety tend to stick to indicas but I do occasionally get good sativas like Jack Herer or super silver haze The Strain has given me no anxiety it has helped with it and helps my back pain. Great for after work I would recommend it to anybody I would like to try the 30% version. I only dropped a star because of the quality and brand being mid-level, Utah still Doesnt have the best brands.

  2. Garlic cookies is by far the strongest Thc level I’ve encountered at a staggering 29.4%. I love the garlic aftertaste and that chem fragrance. Absolutely awesome for my bipolar disorder and anxiety. Definitely not for the faint of heart. Recommend nighttime use for anyone with insomnia.
