Strains

Super Silver Haze is a Sativa dominant hybrid strain bred by the Green House Seeds. It consists of 80% Sativa and 20% Indica. Super Silver Haze, or SSH, is one of the best Sativa hybrids popular in the 90s for its high potency of between 18 and 23% THC. The strain has the High Times Cannabis Cup titles of 1997, 1998, and 1999, the longest run of victories ever witnessed. Super Silver Haze is a cross between Skunk, Northern Lights, and Haze.

Super Silver Haze is characterized by buds covered by fluffy and airy popcorn-like bright green nuggets with orange hairs and a layer of thick, frosty, white trichomes. Its sugar leaves appear more faded in color with gray and purple patches. The buds also have short pistils sticking out in their usual faded orange color.

The Super Silver Haze marijuana strain grows tall and starts to flower after about 70 days. It is usually ready for harvesting in mid-October, or late September is also possible. When grown indoors, the recommended cultivation methods are the Screen of Green (ScrOG) and Low-Stress Training (LST). Outdoor growers need equatorial, tropical, subtropical, and temperate climates. Successful indoor cultivation can yield 19 ounces per square meter and 15 ounces per plant outdoors.

Super Silver Haze produces a pleasant aroma of sweet candy with undertones of spicy, skunky, and diesel-like smell. Flavor-wise, Super Silver Haze has an overall taste of herbal, spicy, sour, and earthy.

The high of Super Silver Haze begins immediately and hits hard, clouding your mind as soon as you exhale the first puff.
