Golden Goat

Strains

Golden Goat is a Sativa-leaning hybrid strain with a Sativa to Indica ratio of 65:35. This strain first came into existence in Topeka, Kansas, when a male Hawaiian-Romulan accidentally pollinated a female Island Sweet Skunk. This accidental breeding resulted in a sweet and highly potent marijuana plant with a THC level of 23%.

The growth structure of Golden Goat is borrowed from the Hawaiian strain. It grows tall and needs a lot of room for its roots. It has dense foliage that requires pruning to encourage sunlight penetration and to encourage it to grow tall. The leaves are bright green, with some phenotypes displaying hints of pink or red, resulting from anthocyanin accumulation when grown under cold conditions.

The Golden Goat marijuana strain flowers after 8-10 weeks, producing resinous flowers flecked with amber-colored trichomes. This combination gives the buds an overall golden appearance, and hence, the name. The buds have a sticky texture when cured as appropriate and leave behind a lot of residues. This strain is difficult to grow, should be left to the experienced cannabis cultivars. It is a relatively high-yielding weed strain that produces about 14 ounces per plant when grown outdoors and 16 ounces per square meter indoors.

Golden Goat emits a citrusy and piney aroma with the same flavor profile. This strain hits immediately with a mental buzz that alters your visions. Your surrounding will virtually start to look magnified with more sounds and colors in sharp focus. This sensory distortion lasts a few minutes and changes into physical full-body relaxation. However, stoners can still pick themselves up because of the Sativa effects of this strain. Some users have also reported increased creativity and sedation.

Golden Goat is recommended for both daytime and nighttime use. Whether you want to just relax at home or hang out with friends, this weed strain is the right one for you. It is also effective in treating chronic conditions such as anxiety, stress, pain, and depression.
