Dr. Who

Strains

Dr. Who or Doctor Who is an Indica-dominant strain (60% Indica and 40% Sativa) created by Homegrown Natural Wonder by crossing Trainwreck and Mad Scientist. The weed strain is known for its high potency, and inexperienced smokers with low tolerance to strong cerebral stimulations are warned not to try it. Dr. Who has a THC level of about 20-30% but remains one of the potent hybrid cannabis strains on the planet.

Dr. Who has a heavy structure and is distinguishable by its green leaves with purple patches. The patches are due to high concentrations of anthocyanin pigment when exposed to cold conditions during growth. It produces small to medium-sized buds covered by dusty trichomes. When properly cured, Dr. Who’s flower becomes very sticky.

This strain grows well indoors and outdoors and exhibits high resistance to molds and other prevalent diseases. It mainly thrives in a warm and temperate climate when grown outdoors. The daytime temperature should range from 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. With proper feeding and climate conditions, Dr. Who is ready for harvesting by the end of September. It takes 8-9 weeks to mature indoors, yielding 11 ounces of fresh bud per square meter and 15 ounces per plant outdoors. Outdoor growers can expect to harvest in late September or early October.

Dr. Who has a blissful aroma that can be described as fruity and earthy at the same time. It also emits a distinctively pungent and sour scent comparable to what pineapple produces when they are maturing. The flavor is equally fruity, boasting strong citrus and grapefruit flavor profiles. You will also experience a woody and herbal taste infused with sweet grapes on the exhale.

Doctor Who has a high that starts slowly and eventually takes over with a heavy feeling in the head. Many users have reported alteration in senses with amplification of sound, color enhancement, improved taste, and sharpened smell. Dr. Who has a mellow body buzz that is both relaxing and energizing. The weed strain is best paired with taking a walk in the park, having a rambling discussion with peers, reading, and performing any activity that requires creativity and focus.

Medicinally, Dr. Who is best suited for relieving anxiety, chronic pain, appetite loss, muscle spasms, nausea, bipolar disorder, ADD/ADHD, etc.
